Automec: ISO 9001:2015 certification renewed for 2021.
We are happy to announce that at the end of a year full of hardships and difficulties, Automec has successfully passed the audit scheduled in December for the renewal of the ISO9001:2015 certification with the certifying body Omnia CertAB, http://www.omniacertab.it
This important milestone confirms Automec’s commitment to quality. Our goal is to be able to give our Italian and foreign customers the best products accompanied by a corresponding service. The ISO9001:2015 certification helps us to maintain high quality standards and to meet both requirements. This occurs both in our internal processes and in the choice of suppliers who must be increasingly adapted to the requirements imposed by ISO9001:2015.
A lot of effort, but also a lot of satisfaction!
SO9001:2015 certification is undoubtedly a commitment for all departments in the company, not just the quality manager. However, precisely because of this, it stimulates every employee to do their best!
Despite all the difficulties related to Covid-19 and the additional workload this year due to the imposed documentation and health measures, we have managed to dedicate the time required for certification. The audits and checks required by the quality standards of ISO9001:2015 certification are necessary and this is what we have done periodically during this year, despite everything.
New targets and constant training.
This important annual internal audit of Automec also helps us to improve our targets and keep our staff properly trained and up-to-date. We know that companies that do not set themselves challenging goals and do everything they can to achieve them risk losing their position in the market. This is not easy, especially in times of crisis like the one we are currently experiencing. However, it remains for us a key point towards which to direct our efforts.
We also believe that staff training plays a decisive role in improving company performance and we aim to implement it consistently.

In particular, the advice given to us by our consultant and the support he gave us in the management of the key steps related to ISO9001:2015 was fundamental.
We would also like to thank the recently acquired training company RTS srl www.rts-srl.it for their professionalism and availability. RTS allowed us to make the most of the Formazienda fund. Formazienda is a fund that gives companies the opportunity to draw on a pool of funded training hours. This has allowed us to invest more time and resources in training. We are the first to believe that training is very important for company growth as well as for maintaining the quality standards of ISO9001:2015.
A small but great achievement.
The renewal of the ISO9001:2015 certification is a small but important milestone in 2020, a year of great difficulty for many companies. This does not protect us for the future, since there are many aspects to improve and activities to implement in addition to the uncertainty of the delicate moment we are living, but we hope to be able to do it with the same enthusiasm and commitment with which we are working.
